If you didn’t know, June 11th was the first International Yarn Bombing Day, when crafters of the world united to bring color and beauty to urban landscapes.
The Yarn Bombing (also known as yarnstorming, guerrilla knitting and yarn graffiti) is a softer version of street graffiti – knitted cozies were seen on cars, parking meters, subway chairs, bicycles and street signs, and crochet scarves on public statues and trees.
