I’m just like everyone else, yet very different. 🙂 I’m a single-mom, gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy, and my life became an adventure, with brighter colors and new discoveries!
I’m from Russian and Greek origin – therefore is my name “Xenia”. I work in Kaliningrad as a florist, though I am an interior designer by diploma. My life has given me the opportunity to live in countries like Colombia and USA. I’m a former ballet dancer. I have a chocolate lab whom I adore. I like learning languages and communicating with others.
I am huge fan of arts and crafts stores, can never have enough of pencils, paints, and other art supplies. I also love to collect books, and Interior and Architecture magazines (from which I get a lot of new ideas for my projects). I take a lot of Photographs myself – sort of a passion of mine, to become a good photographer one day.
This blog is about all things LIFE has to offer. It’s full of Art and Design ideas, Photography, Architecture articles, and illustrations. As well as I post some of my DIY projects and drawings. I also have posts about nature, health, recipes, movies (Movie for Tonight), activities, fitness, celebrities, LOVE, photos (Photo of the Day), quotes (Quote a Day), and much much more. Since Russian is my second language, I tend to post things in that language as well.
I want to share my joy and gratitude for all the beautiful things we have on Earth and beyond. Hope you enjoy it and feedback would be appreciated.
For those who are not familiar with the name Xenia:
(Gk: ξενία, Lat. hospitium) is the Greek concept of hospitality, a generosity and courtesy shown to those who are far from home. It is often translated as “guest-friendship” (or “ritualized friendship”) because the rituals of hospitality create and express a reciprocal relationship between guest and host.
