Kitchen design: Mackintosh style

Reflecting the homeowners’ love of the Arts-and-Crafts movement, this kitchen is reminiscent of the Rennie Mackintosh style, but adds the modern conveniences needed today.

Machkintosh reincarnated

Mellow, toned quarter-sawn oak cabinetry intermixed with black hickory cabinets help achieve this outcome. Authentic Motawi tiles in rustic colors of the period complement a fully functional kitchen, featuring a 36” electric cooktop, stainless steel hood, a fully integrated refrigerator, and microwave drawer in the island.
